Sources & Fair Use Statement

Attributions and Unknown Sources

Great care has been taken to ensure that the quotations, attributions, etymological explanations, proverbial sayings, and teachings in this collection are credited accurately to their original sources. However, as time passes, phrases tend to resurface with minor wording adjustments or various translations. In this collection, when a well-known attribution is typically associated with a particular individual without any disputes, the most commonly accepted attribution is provided, even if the precise origin remains unverified. If there are widespread doubts about the attribution of a quote, it is labeled “Unknown.”

Fair Use of Copyright Sources
